Wuthering Waves’ Next Update Takes A Trip To The “Dark Side”
This mission to protect the Academy from the Fractsidus is going to get a little weird.

Okay, to be fair, anything involving Wuthering Waves' favorite faction of evil humanities students is pretty weird. But this time it involves a mirror version of Startorch Academy that exists in a Sonoro sphere. They didn’t create it. It’s like something that apparently happens when you get all those young resonators together in one place. All their anxiety and worries help create that space. The Academy knows about it and has a yearly event to keep things from getting out of hand. But the Fractsidus knows about it too. In fact, that may be what the Grand Architect was hinting about when he last spoke to Rover.
Either way, players of the free-to-play action RPG are headed into this Sonoro sphere to investigate and put things right before the upcoming Solar Celebration. And that’s where we’ll be spending our time in Version 3.2. While investigating, we’ll run into someone we’ve seen around before but have yet to meet officially, Sigrika. Sigrika will also be the game’s newest Resonator. She’s a Royan and a future Heliodic Six successor. That becomes really apparent when you see her working with Soliskin in combat. She gets sucked into the new adventure when someone sends her a riddle filled with Royan runes.
The new version, Chapter II Act IV: “Gold Suspended in Shadows,” drops March 19 and focuses on this storyline. It will be followed by Segue: Afterstory "Rabbit Reflected in Shades” on April 9. In that part of the story, Rover teams up with President Lucilla to make sure nothing involving the Dark Side was left unfinished.
As mentioned above, the new five-star Resonator dropping with this update will be Sigrika. At the same time, Qiuyan’s Convene will make a return. Sigrika and Qiuyan will then be followed by return Convenes for Lynae, Zani, and Phoebe.
Of course, there will be new events. Some will be related to the Solar Celebration. The Academy has even been decorated for the event. And, yes, there are redemption codes. Those are: DARKSIDE, RABBITHOLE, and RUNEREADER. Be sure to use them before they expire.
