A little over a year since it was introduced, the Civilization MMO is coming to a close in South Korea. An announcement posted on the XLGames site by CEO Jae-Kyung Song revealed that service for the game will be terminated on December 7 of this year.

This may not be the complete end of the game however as, according to the post, the company is reworking the game with what they hope will be better gameplay. In the meantime, fans will want to get in all the hours they can. No official plans for the game past December 7th have been revealed, so there's no guarantee when (or if) it will make a return.

XL games makes some cool games but I'm not suprised this game is being killed off. I've only played archeage but since from the looks of it their other games been partnered with other publishers I have no idea how they been doing but if it's anything like archeage then all I gotta say is I'm not suprised they are killing this game off.
