Dauntless's New Behemoth Variant, The Lightbound Koshai, Can Warp Time
And there's a new omnicell that offers support abilities.
As if the Behemoths in Dauntless weren't dangerous enough, with yesterday's Patch 1.9.3 now live, they're undegoing genetic mutations and acquiring strange and deadly new abilities.
That's the story of the Lightbound Koshai, which now prowls the Paradox Breaks and Razorcliff Isle, and uses radiant power as a source of energy. This Koshai can manipulate the flow of time, slowing or speeding up its movements whenever it needs to, or even reversing its attacks altogether. Also, it shoots beams of light from its tail, because why shouldn't it?
A new Artificer omnicell makes use of radiant aether to enable a more support-focused role that focuses on helping allies and debilitating foes. Its abilities include revival, status cleansing, a +15% damage boost against a Behemoth, and a wall to block projectile attacks. It also heals players in its area of effect, and all the healing you do is increased by one for every 150 points of health you possess.
Patch 1.9.3 also includes a new cave system, the Crystal Mine, in Conundrum Rocks, and a new Reach of Radiance Hunt Pass and New Dawn challenges and rewards. For more on the update, check out the Dauntless site.
