Destiny 2 Dev Stream Offers Players More Details On The Upcoming Star Wars Inspired Expansion, Renegades
The stream included a new trailer and a “Making Of” ViDoc.

December 2 should be an interesting day for Destiny 2 fans who also happen to be Star Wars fans (I imagine the Venn diagram for that is pretty much a circle), as that’s when the Star Wars-inspired expansions “Renegades” launch in the free-to-play shooter. Ahead of that launch, Bungie hosted a Developer Livestream, dropping a new trailer for the expansion and showing off some of the new exotic weapons.
The trailer and the making of video can both be seen below. As for the weapons, Destiny 2’s lightsaber-inspired kinetic Exotic Sword, the Praxic Blade, will offer different customization paths that will have an effect on gameplay. Of course, there are cosmetics that will make the weapon uniquely yours. The expansion will also introduce the new Blaster weapon archetype, which features a heat-based firing and reload system. Other exotics dropping with the update include the Solar Crossbow and a Strand Machine Gun.
