Dota 2’s The International Tournament Returns In October, And It Has A Bigger Home
Valve is moving it to a bigger venue.
Dota 2 fans, prep your wallets and clear your calendar. The International is returning later this year – and in a bigger venue. Valve dropped a short post revealing the MOBA's event will be held in Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena in October. This will allow the event to host its biggest audience ever.
The tournament period will begin on October 14 with the group stage and the resulting playoffs. These will be known as The Road to the International. The International event will start on Friday, October 27, and run through Sunday, October 29. Full details on all of this will be dropped at a later time. It’s likely the first real details we’ll be getting will be how to buy tickets and participate in the tournament process. Everything else will probably come after since the tournament is still five months away.
