Dungeons & Dragons Online Devs Tease Gnome Race And Anniversary Plans
In the most recent DDO Producer’s Letter, Executive Producer Severlin took a look back at 2015 and teased some interesting things for 2016. According to the letter, the development team is currently concentrating on two major things -- the free-to-play game’s 10th Anniversary and the introduction of the Gnome race.
The anniversary celebration is set to take place at the end of February and will reward players with gifts, prizes, events and more. Turbine will also debut a free multi-character-level dungeon at this time -- a “tongue-in-cheek story” featuring popular DDO characters and NPCs. Players will also get the chance to take on some of the developers in battle.
As for the Gnome race, not much has been revealed except that it will come with the Deep Gnome Iconic -- and the picture you see above.
The update will also introduce an updated Cannith Crafting system and fixes to several bugs.
