Killer in the Cabin Release Date

After Killer in the Cabin's quality of life update earlier in the month, this early-access social survival game has seen a fair share of fine-tuning to upgrade the player experience. And today, developer Games People Play revealed that Killer in the Cabin is leaving Early Access and fully launching on Steam on May 12.

To give you a little background, Killer in the Cabin is all about working together to survive in the Norwegian wilderness; but one of your companions is a killer trying to avoid detection by assisting the group. Whether for or against the group, your main objective is to survive in harsh conditions. And over the multiple updates that Games People Play put into the game, you can test your cooperative or killing skills with AI bots before the real deal and get acquainted with using the text chat function to weed out the murderous imposter or deceive the other members.

Lead developer Jack Kristoffersen talked a bit about the game's community and its May 12 release:

“We’ve listened to the community during the early access period and the game’s now ready for full launch. We’re so excited to introduce a new host of players to the cabin and check out the creative ways people murder each other in-game!”

Are you interested in trying out Killer in the Cabin when May 12 hits? Let us know! In the meantime, check out the Steam page for the game to learn more.
