Elder Scrolls Online Update 32 Introduces An Armory And Curated Item Set Drops
Now you can easily complete the sets you want and swap builds.
When The Elder Scrolls Online’s Update 32 arrives – alongside the Deadlands DLC – players are going to gain access to two big quality of life features tied specifically to gear. This would be a new Armory System which allows players to create and store full builds that can be swapped out at the click of a button and easier acqusition of set pieces.
Players can grab the Armory Station from the in-game Crown Store for free and place it in their homes to get started. From here, players can create builds and swap between them. The catch is that you will need to use the Armory Station to do it, and…you only have two build slots to start with. If you want more, you’ll have to purchase them in the Crown Store. If you want to be able to swap builds away from home, you’ll have to throw down for the Armory Assistant Ghrasharog, who can be summoned if in most areas and help you and your friends swap builds. (He can not be summoned into a dungeon or trial runs.)
In addition to the armory station, Update 32 also introduces curated item set drops. This is intended to make collecting item sets less difficult. Once the update goes live, the Curated Item Set Drops system will try to give players set items they don’t already own, reducing the randomness of rewards. As drops go on, the options will reduce until a player obtains the entire set. This won’t work for every set, however, and in those cases, players will continue to receive completely random rewards.
