Take that, Apple.

Epic Rewards 20%

Epic Games has boosted its Epic Rewards program, now offering 20% back in store credit on all purchases made in Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys through the Epic Games Store (EGS).

Previously 5%, this increase comes just as Epic’s mobile titles return to iOS after a five-year absence. The 20% back promotion runs through August, giving players an incentive to buy directly from Epic instead of third-party platforms. Say, Apple, for example.

In case you weren’t familiar, Apple takes a 30% cut of in-app purchases. Now, when buying V-Bucks on iOS, players can choose between Apple’s payment system or Epic’s own method. The 20% is credited two weeks after purchase and can be used on anything in the EGS except subscriptions, though subscription buys like Fortnite Crew still qualify for earning rewards.

Unfortunately, console players (PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch) can’t pay Epic directly, so the 20% isn’t available in-game. That being said, the Fortnite web store still unlocks the full rewards.
