F2P Action Shooter Scavengers Schedules Next Playtest September 18
Get ready to spend some time this weekend fighting for survival in the Scavengers playtest weekend. The event kicks off at 6 PM Pacific on September 18 and runs through 8 PM Sunday September 20. During the event -- which developer Midwinter Entertainment reminds everyone is not to be shared via stream, social media, or other venues -- players will be helping the team improve the game while testing out several new features. The dev team is even unlocking the full lineup of characters so players can decide what works best for them. One of the upgraded features include the Loadout screen where players customize their Explorer between matches.
Despite the game being developed for Xbox One and PS4, this test will be limited to PC on Steam. If you're curious as to whether or not your PC can run the game, the developer has provided system requirements in the playtest announcement. These are:
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Core i5-6500 or equivalent
- GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX760/AMD Radeon R9 380
- RAM: 8 GB
- DirectX: Version 11
More details on how to participate in the event -- including an FAQ -- can be found on the game's site.
