Fall Guys Hits 20 Million Player Milestone After F2P Launch...In Just 48 Hours
Players can enjoy competing in escalating rounds of absurd, chaos filled fun.
With cross-play and free-to-play as a perfect combination these days, it is no surprise that Developer Mediatonic hit 20 million players in just 48 hours after the battle royale knockout game, Fall Guys, went free-to-play.
Fall Guys gained a great deal of hype when it first came out during the pandemic in 2020 but died down as Among Us and other games arose that were more accessible to playing with friends. The issue with Fall Guys--besides some server issues--was that not everyone used the same console.
Now that Fall Guys is cross-play with cross-progression and free-to-play, more and more people have been able to join in on all the fun and play with their friends regardless of an initial game cost or a different console. Players who have yet to join in on the fun can always do so from the Epic Games Store.
