Final Fantasy XIV Leans Into The Unexpected Collaborations With LOGOS Outdoor Gear
The 7.1 preliminary patch notes are up as well.
With only four days left until the first Dawntrail patch drops, the Final Fantasy XIV team is busy posting news updates on the Lodestone. As expected, one of those updates is the preliminary patch notes which summarizes everything we’ve heard over the last two Live Letters. Another is the Special Site update – most useful for those of us in need of pretty pictures of the new content.
There’s another announcement on the Lodestone that most players probably didn’t expect, however. However, it does fit with the whole "vacation adventure with just a hint of potential global disaster as a treat" vibe Dawntrail had going on.
The announcement in question? Final Fantasy XIV had teamed up with Japanese outdoor gear brand LOGOS. Effectively, there’s a whole collection of outdoor gear like a tiny tent, collapsible chairs, folding tables, and lanterns with Final Fantasy XIV branding on them. It seems they’re trying to encourage us to leave the house. If you’re the type of person to do the whole ‘outside’ thing and think you might want to have gear with Alpha and a moogle on it to show your love for the MMORPG, preorders open on November 15.
