Nothing Quite Like Killing 99 Others For The Holidays: Fortnite Celebrates With Winterfest
Also, Spider-Man No Way Home comes to the game.
Celebrate the holidays in style during Fortnite’s Winterfest event taking place now. The event kicked off today and will run through January 6, during which time players can pick up fourteen free presents, festive outfits, winter-themed items, and more. There’s also special Spider-Man No Way Home cosmetics. Both Spidey and MJ outfits are available, as is an emote that allows players to remove Spidey’s mask.
Of course, to get your hands on all of these goodies, you will need to do some stuff – said “stuff” being quests. You’ll be wanting to hit up Sgt. Winter for those. He also has your presents, so just hit him up in general. Each day, over the course of the event, Winter will have a different quest for players that will offer an XP reward as well as rewards like a board glider and back bling.
For the Creative fans among you, there are also some Winterfest activities specific to that. During the event, players will be able to check out the Winterfest tab next to “Discover” and explore all kinds of winter-themed maps. Play in these maps for two hours and earn a special emoticon, spray, and banners.
