Feeling a little "Mad Max" lately? Want to scavenge together a deadly contraption on wheels in a post apocalyptic world? Well, Crossout may just be your cup of tea. The upcoming vehicle based MMO from Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games will take players into a "Beyond Thunderdome" type world and allow them to duke it out in vehicles that are fully customized by players.

Crossout is in an alpha stage right now but Gaijin is looking to take development to the next level and is already recruiting players interested in helping out on the game's official site. Worried about how customizable your death truck will be? Gaijin is claiming there are so many options that now two vehicles will ever have to look the same.

Some of the Key features of Crossout include:

  • Unique vehicles, crafted by the players using a wide range of available parts: from nimble buggies to heavily tracked off-road vehicles or combat platforms on antigrav fields.
  • Complete freedom of creativity and thousands of possible combinations. Create vehicles of any shape using dozens of parts, wide variety of armour and weapons as well as support systems.
  • Advanced damage model: destroy any part of an enemy machine and it will affect the vehicle's performance immediately.
  • Huge arsenal of weapons. From chain saws, power-drills over machine guns to rocket launchers, flying drones and stealth generators.
  • Your own workshop: create new, advanced parts and auction them at the in-game marketplace.
  • Trading options between players: every piece that you have gethered in the battle can be sold to other players.
  • Interesting to you? Let me know your thoughts below!
