Genshin Impact's Final Closed Beta Kicks Off July 2
On July 2, Interactive Entertainment will kick off the final closed beta event for its free-to-play, open-world ARPG Genshin Impact. This will be the first time players on all available platforms -- PC, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices -- can explore the world of Teyvat together, traveling through two of the seven major cities that will eventually be available in the game. Of course, players won't be stuck to just those cities, there's also the open world around them filled with plenty of things to do.
Not only is this the first time players will be able to work together across all platforms, but this is also the first ever beta test for the PlayStation 4 version of the game -- meaning a whole new group of players will be joining in on the fun.
No official launch date is available for Genshin Impact as of yet. However, Interactive Entertainment and developer miHoYo expect to release the game sometime later this year. To find out more about the game and register for beta, head over to the Genshin Impact site. (You may want to turn your speakers down. It is a wee bit noisy.)
