Gigantic Community Manager Leaves Motiga
Motiga, after having laid off a large portion of their staff, has suffered another departure as Community Manager Troy Hewitt left the company effective this past Friday. In a letter on the Gigantic Reddit page, Hewitt detailed his love for the company, the community, and his faith in Gigantic as a game and sites "reaching a phase in life that requires I move on to other opportunities" as the reason for the departure.
Let me be clear: I believe in Gigantic and I love this team. The reality is that I have reached a phase of my life that requires me to move in a new direction - a phase that brings new creative and professional challenges, and new opportunities for personal growth.
We wish Troy well on his new opportunities.
