Grinding Gear Games Announces More Adjustments For Path Of Exile 2
Expect more buffs and nerfs and other features.
Today, Grinding Gear Games teased some of the changes they intend to implement in Path of Exile 2, addressing player feedback since Early Access began. Plans to add fast-travel checkpoints in areas are progressing, but that’s not all players have to look forward to – or bemoan, as the case may be.
Included in the preliminary list of changes to the action RPG are adjustments to the Trial of Sekhemas and balancing in various areas such as endgame, monsters, and items. The Trial of Sekhemas adjustments address issues that make close-range combat frustrating for players. Specifically, the devs have reworked how Honor Damage scales. They also fixed a bug that was actually causing players to take too much Honor Damage.
The update will include balances to endgame maps intended to make things a bit less punishing. Additional elemental resistance penalties applied at certain levels have been removed. Chaos Damage is less aggressive, the Volatile Crystals Modifier has been disabled. Of course, that’s only some of the changes.
The preview post also lists several changes to character and item balance as well as skill and support gem balance. The full rundown is available on the Path of Exile site.
