PoE 2 Vaal Updates

Path of Exile 2’s Fate of the Vaal league has been out for about a week now, and as you might expect, players have had some thoughts. Those thoughts haven’t been addressed yet, because the developer of the action RPG has been busy working on technical fixes, but a recent announcement from the dev team details the things they’re looking to address now. Player feedback is a good bit of that.

The changes detailed in the announcement are intended to address a few things players have expressed concerns about. The first among the things being addressed is the rewards for the temple. Players have stated that they’re not high enough and that, as a result, the temples aren’t worth doing. The devs are addressing this in several ways, including “approximately doubling the values on existing modifiers”, applying bonuses to Spymaster, Golem Works, and Thaumaturge rooms, adding new mobs to different areas of the temple, increasing gold drops in the Alchemy Lab, and increasing the Rarity of items in the Treasure Vault.

Another thing being addressed is the crafting benches for Exalting, Vaaling, and Alchemy that weren’t allowing players to take the crafts as currency. Apparently, this was intentional for a bit. But it’s been changed now.

The devs are also making it easier for players to get to specific rooms if they’re going for a combo and addressing the fact that defeating the Architect resulted in too much lost progress. A full rundown of the changes can be found on the Path of Exile 2 Steam page.
