Guild Wars Developer Is Now Hiring For An Unannounced Online Fantasy RPG With Multiplayer
Will this be a brand new game or something taking place in the Guild Wars IP??
According to a recently listed job posting on the AreaNet's website, it would seem that ArenaNet is currently working on an unannounced, multiplayer, role-playing game “for an established online fantasy IP,” based in Unreal Engine 5. The job listing is for a Senior Technical Content Designer (Unannounced Project) position. “Our studio strikes to build both breath-taking narratives and a deeply interactive world.” The description then goes on to mention that the person who fills this role will be “building the pillars of our multiplayer storytelling experience such as interactions, conversations, scenes, dynamic spawning, and emergent objectives.
From the job posting alone, a few things can be learned about the new title. One is that the game will be using Unreal Engine 5, a next-generation and popular game engine. Also, the unannounced project is based on an “established online fantasy IP,” which could suggest another installment in the Guild Wars franchise.
Those eager to work for ArenaNet can also check out their position for Senior Encounter Designer on Guild Wars 2.
