Heroes & Generals' Churchill Update Draws Inspiration From Inglourious Basterds
War never changes, but Heroes & Generals' vision of World War II does. The game's newest update, named "Churchill" -- not for Sir Winston but for British Lt. Col. "Mad Jack" Churchill -- gives American and German infantry a few new toys to play with inspired by a recent WWII film, as well as camouflage uniforms for US infantrymen.
The US M1941 Johnson LMG is the same weapon used by members of the Devil's Brigade, the subjects of the movie Inglourious Basterds. German soldiers get the P38 Parabellum pistol, also seen in the film. Three variants of hunter camouflage are also available to American troops, and you can ooh and ahh at the new images for assault teams in the game's shop.
