World Of Tanks Heat Announces Official World Of Tanks: HEAT Launch Date
The game will support full cross-platform play and progression on launch.

On May 26, Wargaming’s latest entry in the World of Tanks franchise, World of Tanks: HEAT, will launch on PC, Steam Deck, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce Now. The free-to-play tactical shooter set in an alternate post-WWII era will feature cross-platform play and progression, meaning you can get in on the action almost anywhere. (Mobile versions of the game were not listed.)
If you’ve somehow missed hearing about World of Tanks: HEAT, it’s different from the other games in the WoT franchise. As mentioned above, it’s set in an alternate universe. But that’s not the only difference. Rather than focusing specifically on the tanks, World of Tanks: HEAT features agents, each commanding not one, but two special vehicles. At launch, there will be a total of eight agents and fifteen vehicles.
Each agent fills one of three roles: Defender, Assault, and Marksman. Their vehicles are tailored to their related roles, with each embracing a different playstyle with full customization options via modules and other equipment.
When the game launches, it will include eight maps and four PvP modes: Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed, and Conquest. Each map is designed to support multiple modes.
