The Hidden War is now out in the open, as the first part of the newest season for Warface has gone live on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the My.Games store. Players will take the fight to jungles and stone tunnels somewhere in Africa and do battle on a new map while trying out new weapons, armor, and the game's new Contracts system.

The new PvP map, Ruins, is fit for the Capture game mode, and has Indiana Jones-style levers that cunning players can use to trigger traps and change up the map's topology and foul up your enemies' plans. Also arriving in this update is the Contracts system, letting players complete tasks for more rewards, including series weapons, Crowns, and a VIP booster. Every class gets a special agent in this update, as well, which are "comprehensive themed packages to give your character a wholly new sense of style."

On the technical side, North American and European servers have been merged. The ultimate plan is a "merger with Warface CIS and creating one global Warface PC community."
