If You Can’t Be In The Real NY For The NYE Ball Drop, Attend The One In Marvel Rivals
Mayor Wilson Fisk has you covered.

In the US, if there’s one thing everyone associates with New Year’s Eve, it’s the big ball drop in New York. Unfortunately, not everyone can make it to the Big Apple for the holidays, so most people end up watching it on TV or just going to whatever is happening in their local area.
Gamers – particularly players of Marvel Rivals – now have another option. If you can’t go to the real NYC to watch the ball drop, you can at least join your other hero and villain friends to watch Wilson Fisk host the New Year’s Ball Drop at Times Square in the popular free-to-play team shooter. The celebration will last for a few days, offering players a chance to grab the “New Year 2026” title from their in-game mail. (If you don’t grab it during the period between January 1 and January 3, you won’t be able to pick it up later.
As for the ball drop itself, the ceremony will begin at 8:00 PM Eastern in-game on December 31 and end at 1:00 AM January 1. So, if you don’t have any plans for the new year, and you’re a Marvel Rivals fan, now you do.
