In Celebration Of The Finals' Upcoming Alpha Playtest, A Gameplay Showcase Trailer Has Been Revealed
Interested players can head over to Steam to sign up for the Alpha Playtest.
Embark Studios’ The Finals’ Alpha Playtest will arrive on PC via Steam on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 2 PM CEST and will be live through October 3, 2022, 9 AM CEST. Players can enjoy this fresh take on the FPS genre that takes dynamism and intuitiveness to a new level. Players will be invited to a range of virtual arenas based on real-world locations that contestants can alter, exploit, and even destroy in chaotic PvP matches.
The Alpha Playtest is meant to test core game features and operational capabilities and is not a marketing beat according to the team. What that means is, there is no streaming or gameplay capture/posting allowed during the Alpha. An important note is that the game is still currently in development, and playtest experience will be limited.
In celebration of this milestone, Embark Studios has shared its first Pre-Alpha Gameplay Showcase Trailer for the upcoming title.
