The Infinity Lock Box Returns To Star Trek Online
Ahead of Star Trek Online's next big update, the Infinity Lock Box has returned, offering players a chance at items from many previously-retired lock boxes. The box is available now, and will stick around until January 23rd. During this period, players will have the opportunity to pick the boxes up from enemies on both ground and space maps. At the same time, the Tzenkethi Lock Box is being retired.
The lock box has been updated a bit since its last appearance. So it now also contains the prizes originally available in the Son'a Lock Box, as well as items found in the previous Infinity Lock Box. A list of the Son'a items is available via the announcement on the game's site.
In other STO news, Season 14; Emergence makes the Dranuur Colony available as a new 5-tier joint Lukari-Kentari-themed fleet holding -- open to all fleets in the game. The colony offers a modifiable appearance and inter-fleet shuttle capabilities for easy access.
Finally, there's a short set of notes for yesterday's patch available on the game's site. Two events have returned, but for the most part the notes are for general updates and fixes.
