KartRider: Drift's Long-Awaited Preseason With New Tracks Is Now Available On PC And Mobile Platforms
A in-game launch event will reward players with a Spike kart and license plate for logging in for seven days.
KartRider: Drift has finally launched its long-awaited Preseason patch, bringing new colorful race tracks, characters, and cosmetics to PC and mobile devices.
During Preseason, players who complete dailies and event challenges can earn unique characters, karts, accessories, and emotes from the new Racing Pass. There are also "premium challenges" available by purchasing a Premium Racing Pass, including more unlockable prizes.
The new License System will task players in a series of "meticulously designed courses," ranging from a Time Attack Mode to testing their skills to land on the online leaderboards. The Preseason update delivers a ton of arcade-thrilling content that casual and seasoned fans should be able to enjoy.
Until January 25th, players can log in daily to wrack up seven rewards during the ongoing daily event. The prizes, such as a new Spike Kart and Spike License Plate, can be claimed on the Daily Reward screen under Events. Also, don't worry about missing out on a day; as long as you log in before the 25th, you can receive all seven prizes.
The first weekend of the Preseason launch also sees a login event between January 13th and January 15th at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. This time, logging in fans can earn 1,000 bonus Lucci per day, which can also be claimed from the Events menu.
Unfortunately, PlayStation and Xbox console players will have to wait until Season 1 to play side-by-side with PC and mobile players. And as for Nexon's KartRider Rush+, the mobile racing title will continue to operate as a standalone game and won't share cross-play functionality with KartRider: Drift.
