KartRider: Drift To Launch Preseason For PC And Mobile Devices On January 11, Consoles Coming Later
Preseason will have various awards, shops, Racing Passes, and much more.
KartRider: Drift will launch its Preseason for PC on Steam, iOS, and Android mobile devices on January 11. Sometime later, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will receive the update that debuts events offering various awards, shops, Racing Passes, and more.
Nexon's announcement for the update doesn't say much about what's headed to the game but does confirm a focus on cross-platform play and progression initiatives throughout Preseason. Much of that will expand into the console versions to fully unlock its cross-platform capabilities with PC and mobile devices. Leading up to January 11, the developers will continue to polish KartRider: Drift.
According to Gematsu, the Preseason will carry over all progress from the official service when it launches and will feature similar events to its Early Access phase.
