Konami Celebrates Launch Of Super Bomberman R Online With Promotions And Giveaways
Super Bomberman R Online is now online -- that is to say, the 64-player battle royale inspired by the classic Bomberman console game has now launched as free-to-play on all platforms. As we mentioned in our last coverage of the game, it's now available for PlayStaton 4 and Xbox One, and Steam on PC.
Konami has a bunch of promotions to go along with the launch. You can get a Fall Guys skin in Bomberman, and on June 4, you'll be able to get a Bomberman skin in Fall Guys. Konami has also partnered with SteelSeries to hand out premium codes for the game; that giveaway is over, but you can get in on another SteelSeries contest to have a chance of winning an One Arctis 7 headset, Custom Super Bomberman Online QcK+ Mousepad, and Premium Pack DLC Code. That giveaway runs until June 3.
And, for you Metal Gear Solid fans out there, the voice of Solid Snake, David Hayter, has lent his talents to an "Old Snake" skin in Bomberman. Now if they only had Paul Eiding to shout "Snake? SNAAAAAAKE!" when he dies ...
