Zenless Zone Zero Steam Version Announced During Version 2.8 Special Program

On May 6, Zenless Zone Zero will wrap up the Season 2 storyline with the launch of Version 2.8 “New: Eridan Sunset”. The update will have players of the free-to-play action RPG returning to the Outer Ring in search of Ramiel and the W-Engine she stole. On their way there, they’ll run into Krampus’ executioner, Promeia, who forms an alliance with Billy, Cissia, and the Proxies to track down Ramiel – all for their own reasons.

Promia will be one of two new Agents to arrive in Version 2.8. The other is Billy with a shiny new upgrade – otherwise known as Starlight – Billy. Finally, he’s become a Starlight Knight. Promia will be available in the first phase, along with a Lucia rerun. They’ll be followed by Starlight – Billy and a rerun of Orphie & Magus.

The update will introduce a new type of combat, Vortex combat, as well as the new Wind attribute. When Wind Attribute is inflicted on enemies, it will trigger Vortex and deal AoE anomaly damage, which will allow players to build new kinds of teams.

As for events, players can expect a battle mission from Promeia, a Spookshack event, and an event that takes them to a Bangboo theme park. The last one will reward players with the new Boltereist Bangboo.

The devs also announced a new feature during the Special Program – one that those who play Honkai Star Rail will be familiar with, a system to track polychrome acquisition. It will let you know what activities you can do to earn polychromes and how many are left to acquire.

For those worrying about their hard drive space, work has been done on that, and they’ll be interesting more tools for players to control what’s installed on their system.

Finally, ZZZ will be coming to Steam soon. The game page is live, and players can wishlist it now. Of course, there are rewards available when the number of people who have wishlisted hits certain milestones.
