Digital Extremes Reveals Warframe’s Latest Narrative Chapter With A New Anime Shorts
It’s time to pick sides.

Today, Digital Extremes chose an interesting way to reveal the next Warframe Narrative Chapter, Jade Shadows: Constellations. The company dropped a new animated short (technically two, but they’re only slightly different). The trailers, seen below, are the product of a collaboration between Digital Extremes, metalcore band ERRA, and the animation arthouse THE LINE, and were directed by Louve Sarfati Karnas, who is known for the Hades II cinematic animated trailer.
The short follows rivals from two future timelines, Sirius and Orion. It’s suggested that players choose a side and watch the related trailer. But we all know everyone will probably watch both just to compare.
The animations were revealed as part of the free-to-play shooter RPG's April devstream. During that stream, the devs also revealed the new temporal guardian Protoframes for Ash and Garuda and announced the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast. The devstream can be viewed below as well.
