Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Cards

The upcoming January 10 update to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's banlist will see a dozen cards joining the Limited, Semi-Limited, and Unlimited categories. Some of these will regain powerful quirks, while others used in powerful decks are getting limited.

Konami announced the banlist via the Master Duel website. Players will see two cards joining the Limited list, eight added to Semi-Limited, and two returning to Unlimited.

Among the eight Semi-Limited cards, "Sky Striker Ace - Kagari" and "Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm" will receive powerful tools for the Sky Striker and Pendulum decks. But cards like "Pot of Duality" and "Card of Demise" will be moving from three to two copies, limiting the power of the recent Runick deck.

As Master Duel heads into its first anniversary next month, the game was nominated for the "Best Game On the Go" award on Steam. Players who enjoy playing the game on PC at home, with a laptop, or on Steam Deck can vote for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel for the Steam Awards 2022.
