These Are Lost Ark's "Top Issues" And What The Devs Are Doing About Them
Amazon will dropping posts like these on a fairly regular basis.
Lost Ark still has issues and Amazon and Smilegate are apparently hard at work on them. Today, a community manager published a post on the game's forums explaining that in order to be as transparent as possible and to keep players abreast of what’s going on, they will be posting regularly about the game's "Top Issues". In this post, they discussed both bans which began rolling out last week and caught more than one million "illegitimate accounts". That doesn’t mean the bots are gone, but at least it's something. Interestingly, some players on Reddit are also attributing the loss of 200,000 bots to the devs removing the easier ways to make gold – quest rewards and the like.
Another thing being addressed is matchmaking. This is something players on specific servers have been concerned about for a while. However, the changes implemented on March 3rd appear to be rectifying this problem and players are reporting a better experience.
Last week’s update also added a chat filter to allow players to select specific languages. This can be done by clicking the "+" button in the chat window to create a new tab and select the preferred languages.
For those in Europe specifically, queues are being improved and thanks to adjustments things are already looking better. This means those of you who hopped into other regions to be able to play should be able to move back if you want. Speaking of which, Europe West players will be receiving modified login-in bonuses to allow them to catch up after moving regions.
