MapleStory Update Brings New Playable Character Into The Fray
The Nova: Brilliance of Illium patch is live in MapleStory as of today, adding a new playable character to the list. Illium, a member of the Verdant Flora race uses crystal magic and mechanical creations in his quest to find the Ancient God's Sanctuary.
Illium begins his quest in the village of Flora, hidden in the Grandis of Savage Terminal. He starts out as a good support class, able to increase attack and magic power for his allies. As he levels up, he develops powerful attacks.
In addition to the new character, this update adds a new area for characters level 230 and above as well as several new events.
