Marauders Is A Gritty Sci-fi Shooter Where You Raid Hostile Ships And Escape With Everything You Can Loot
Early access coming later this year to Steam and the Microsoft Store.
Marauders is an upcoming first-person multiplayer looter shooter set in a sci-fi, "dieselpunk" alternate future where your task is to breach enemy spaceships and get out with all the plunder you can carry. Developer Small Impact Games and Publisher Team 17, of Worms fame, formally announced the game today, which takes place in a universe where "Earth has reached its breaking point and law and order is out of reach."
You can play Marauders solo or with a team of four, raiding and looting hostile ships filled with AI or enemy players, keeping the gear you find or selling it to afford even better items. In addition to "ground" combat, Marauders also features dogfights in upgradeable starships. You can "build a brand-new craft with scavenged resources; or take someone else’s by force."
Marauders will be playable at the WASD show in London April 7-9, and it will be coming to early access later this year on Steam and the Microsoft Store. You can learn more about the game on its website.
