It's Nanite Of The Living Dead In PlanetSide 2
The Nanite of the Living Dead has returned to PlanetSide 2, and soldiers all around Auraxis are slashing (and shooting) pumpkins on all four continents. Dispatching the orange menaces grant bonus XP and Infernal Grenades, but a few of them are a little more dangerous than others, with "explosive surprises," so beware!
There's a new Halloween-flavored directive in place as well, which has challenges in four tiers and offers rewards like the Ichabod Crown and Ectoblaster. You can also find appropriately themed decorations in the store, so you can trick out your Flash or Harasser with burning tire trails or try on a helmet that's sure to strike terror into the hearts of soldiers from the other factions. And maybe your own.
If you're just looking to party, take a break in Sanctuary and earn Halloween masks by speaking with certain vendors; wearing the masks during action will grant you bonus XP for the duration of the event, which lasts until Nov. 1.
