Perfect World Entertainment announced the 10th expansion for its free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons based MMO, Neverwinter, today. In the new expansion, giants invade Neverwinter, beginning north of Bryn Shander, in the heart of the Ten Towns. In order to protect Neverwinter from these giants, players will need to team up with well-known characters such as Cattie-brie, Wulfgar, and Harshnag.
In addition to this, players can also look forward to new content for high-level players -- including new zones and a new end-game campaign, as well as the addition of a new Tier 3 dungeon.
Storm King's Thunder is not far off for PC users, as it is slated to release on August 16. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players can look forward to the expansion at a later date.
