Nickelodeon All Star Brawl

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl got its biggest update yet today, adding in full character voice-overs and items for its PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (sorry, no Nintendo Switch) versions. You'll be able to crack some skulls together as SpongeBob or the recently introduced fighter Garfield with their original VAs voicing them.

Tom Kenny is the voice of ol' Spongebob, and Frank Welker adds his snazzy voice to the likes of Garfield, but those are just two examples out of 20 characters getting their original VAs. The free update also comes with additional usable items to help spice up its gameplay. Battle items such as Sokka's boomerang from Avatar: The Last Airbender or a Krabby Patty as shown in SpongeBob SquarePants.

PlayStation Plus subscribers who might be interested in seeing what this Nickelodeon platform brawler is all about can pick it up for free on June 7. You'll have until the end of the month to grab it, so now's the perfect time to give it a go. As inspired by the Super Smash Bros. series, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl follows the same formula but stands out because each fighter's moveset is indicative of their personality. Whether playing single-player or with online/local multiplayer for up to four players, there are plenty of ways to play and many characters to learn.
