Once Human Pushing Sizeable Update, Adding New Reality-Warping Content Later Tonight
Activating the Visional Wheel results in random anomalies.
A new update is being pushed in Once Human tonight – or tomorrow, depending on your time zone. The update is scheduled to start at 8:00 pm Pacific time and is expected to last about two hours. Once the update is complete and the servers come back up, a new type of content will have been added to the survival game.
The new content, known as the Visional Wheel, is described as a “mysterious multidimensional Deviation” of unknown origin. When this wheel is activated, reality is warped and players will experience anomalies in scenarios, creating Visional Scenarios.
The Visional Wheel will spin approximately every three months, generating new anomalies every time. The first of these kicks off after the update and is named “Lunar Oracle”. During the three months this Scenario is live, Deviants will gain enhanced stats and players will have to deal with a reduction in Sanity by defeating enemies. At the same time, players will also receive higher yield and crate rewards whenever their HP is low.
The Scenario will last from January 16 to April 24. A full rundown of what players can expect is available in the announcement on the Once Human site. The post also includes a long list of changes and updates, as well as new items being introduced to the game.
