Online Social Deduction Horror Game Deceit 2 Launches On PC Today
Trust no one...not even your friends!

The infected are among us.
Deceit 2 has launched on Steam, with PlayStation and Xbox versions on the horizon. The social deduction game features players divided into Innocent and Infected groups, challenging them to cooperate and uncover deception through proximity chat. The Game Master's lore is expanded to enhance the game's narrative, following the story that the original Deceit told. The base edition is $15, and crossplay compatibility is planned for console and PC players.
“We wanted to expand the narrative threads for Deceit 2 and reintroduce the Game Master’s lore because without the Game Master, there is no Deceit universe,” said World Makers CEO James Thompson. “The team had to create a special kind of energy to craft experiences that tap into these Eldritch horrors and redefine what our game and the social deduction genre can be.”
He continued: “Our demented hope is to leave players running and screaming but also coming back for more.”
