Orcs Must Die! Unchained Adds Classic Five-Player Endless Mode
Not getting enough out of your Orcs Must Die! Unchained play experience? Now you and four complete strangers can play forever... or at least until you get hacked to bits.
Patch 2.3 for Robot Entertainment's MOBA, dubbed "Endless Summer," unleashes a bunch of changes, including an in-game level cap raise to 10, lower health for all heroes, map changes, and -- one of my favorites -- "Chat swear filter has been fixed to no longer censor partial words." Stay cl***y, folks.
The biggest addition, though, is the new Endless Mode, which pits five human players against unending waves of monsters, in classic Orcs Must Die! fashion. If you die, you can re-buy into the game for in-game coins, and the match ends if 25 Rift Points worth of enemies make it through your Rift. Right now, you can only group up with random players, though a pre-formed party system is in the works.
