Overwatch 2 Comes To Xbox Game Pass Tomorrow, Link Your Battle.net Account For A Bevy Of Free Benefits
Cosmetics and a 10% XP are included in the benefits.
Once Microsoft's purchase of Activision Blizzard was complete, it was just a matter of time until the company's titles started showing up on Xbox's Game Pass platform. Back in March of this year, Diablo IV made its way to the subscription platform, and now the next title to make the migration comes tomorrow when hero shooter Overwatch 2 joins the service.
Starting tomorrow, September 17th, if you have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or PC Game Pass, you'll probably want to link up your Battle.net account. You'll have until November 11th to do so. There's quite a few benefits to tying the accounts together. First and foremost, free cosmetic skins. Not only will you snag six skins (Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver), but you'll get a one-time batch of 30 Mythic Prisms to spend on other mythic shop cosmetics you may be after.
There's a special shop that you'll gain access to that opens up the chance to buy cosmetics from the last 3 seasons, if you're so inclined.
One last bonus sees your account receive a 10% XP boost as long as you have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription with your Battle.net account linked. This bonus stacks with any other bonus you may already have.
The post from the Overwatch 2 team has all the instructions you'll need to link your accounts.
