Overwatch 2 To Collaborate With K-Pop Group LE SSERAFIM In First-Ever Music Event
There will be a special game mode and exclusive in-game items.
Unforgiven, I’m a villain.
Overwatch 2 is set to launch its first-ever in-game musical artist collaboration with K-pop group LE SSERAFIM. Their new single, "Perfect Night," will debut on October 26 at 9 PM (PDT), along with an accompanying music video. Additionally, there will be a LE SSERAFIM-inspired game mode added to the shooter game and related exclusive in-game items — including Legendary hero skins.
The specific details of the event will be unveiled on October 30, with the in-game content going live on November 1.
Also, LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to make a special appearance at BlizzCon on November 4. They will perform at the BlizzCon Arena after the conclusion of the Community Night. And by the way, it’s worth noting BlizzCon 2023 has not sold out yet (like previous years).
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
