Part One Of MapleStory's Destiny: Remastered Update Arrives Next Week, Revamps Explorer Jobs And Brings Special Events
Part two comes in late July with a new homestead feature and boss battle.
MapleStory fans will be pleased to know that a big two-part update is coming to the game throughout the summer. Part one, "Destiny: Remastered," launches next week on June 15, featuring special events and revamps to all Explorer jobs in MapleStory. Part two, otherwise known as "Destiny: Homecoming," arrives on July 20 with a new homestead feature and boss battle that drops a unique Eternal equipment set.
There's a lot to unpack for both updates, but before they roll around, Nexon is letting players pre-register a level 61 or above character prior to June 13 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time to earn the Destiny gift package. Inside the gift package are Lil Symphony pets, Angelic Alphabet Damage Skin, a slew of Melody Coins, and a Magician of the Sacred Forest outfit. Then, the Destiny: Remastered update launches on June 15, focusing on a massive revamp for all 14 Explorer jobs. They will receive a "complete overhaul of animations, improved skills, new story segments, and more" on the horizon for beloved jobs like Corsair or Hero.
Also, it wouldn't be the summer without an in-game event or two, so MapleStory will introduce the Starlight Symphony and the return of Tera Burning Plus and Burning World. Destiny: Remaster also includes additional improvements, removing Mastery Books from the game, and making it no longer needed to update 4th job skills. Players can claim Dawn Boss accessories from plenty of bosses to forge a new set, and boss difficulties will get tweaked for Chosen Seren and Verus Hilla, giving players the ability to choose Normal and fight Will on Easy.
The July 20 part two update, Destiny: Homecoming, will feature a new homestead feature that allows players to purchase and decorate their homes. Coming with the housing change is a Watcher Kalos fight at the top of the Unending Tower. Players who win the battle can obtain a new Eternal equipment set.
Anyone interested in popping into MapleStory to experience the upcoming content can watch the Twitch page of Bean Brigade, members of MapleStory's content creator program, to get a glimpse of what's to come between now and June 10.
