Phantasy Star Online 2's ARKS League Kicks Off In May
Phantasy Star Online 2 players are going to have plenty to do next month when the dev team rolls out a new lineup of Urgent Quests and ARKS League Events. The events actually kick off today, beginning the first week. A schedule is available on the PSO2 site. There are also unscheduled Urgent Quests that will pop up at various times throughout the day.
For those unfamiliar with the ARKS League, it offers players a chance to compete with each other by completing specified goals and earning rewards in the process. Players who sign up for the ARKS League are separated into groups (and matched based on when they joined so as to prevent players from having an artificial advantage simply because they logged into a League earlier than someone else).
There are a few ways to sign up for a League ranging from accessing the main menu to simply moving into a new Block. While participating, players will earn points by defeating the assigned enemy, completing an assigned quest, and collecting an assigned item. Speed and quantity are important.
