Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’ Summer Update Offers Players A Bit Of Relaxation, But Not For Long
Vael may be defeated, but that doesn’t mean you can relax completely.
Today, Sega hosted a new NGS Headline WAVE, giving players of Phantasy Star Online 2: NGS a peek at what’s in store in the MMORPG in a little over a week. On June 4, players will gain access to a new Mini Episode in which they’ll explore the feelings of each of their friends following the defeat of Vael. During the episode, they’ll reflect on the past and get ready for whatever is coming next, because there’s always something.
In addition to the new Mini Episode, players can also look forward to a new Limited-Time Urgent Quest. The Shadow of the Fallen Star is a progressive quest that will have players investigating the Crimson Realm. Another Limited-time Quest, The Citadel in the Forest, is a revamped version of The Fortress in the Forest quest and will feature new enemies and mechanics.
The update also brings a new level cap for all classes of 105, and the Enhancement Cap for weapons and gear will be increased to 100. Other additions include new cards for Line Strike, including a new starter deck of the fifth-wave cards, which will be available in the AC Shop.
