Phoenix Labs has added another weapon to its cross-platform arsenal. The company announced the acquisition of developer Bot School Inc. yesterday via LinkedIn, noting that the team would become, "part of the continued effort to strengthen the 'One Dauntless' cross-play and cross-progression experience."

The announcement touts the Bot School team's "decades-long experience" in building platforms and systems that can be used to make the Dauntless cross-platform goals a reality.

Phoenix Labs CEO Jesse Houston added that the company is honored to add Bot School to their team, saying "Their veteran expertise in game development and social systems is uniquely suited to make Dauntless the best game it can be, and we can't wait to see how they can help elevate our live services."
