RuneScape’s Necromancy is on the way and Jagex is offering players the opportunity to prepare for its arrival with a double XP event, coming this weekend to the MMORPG. In fact, they’ve laid out some goals for players depending on just how prepared they’d like to be.
The suggestions ranged from “Good Start” to “Ready for Everything” – with the former seeming fairly achievable for most people to the other being… well, a lot. But hey, you’ll have 48 hours worth of double XP, beginning July 28, to help out.
The post also offered players some excellent news. The work has been done and the Logout Timer has been extended. Now, rather than being booted after five minutes, players will have 10. (Although… I’m thinking maybe they’re underestimating just how long it takes some people to make coffee and grab a snack.)
In addition to the above announcements, the post also includes the patch notes for Necromancy and a video offering players a look at the City of Um.
