Protect The VIP In Insurgency: Sandstorm’s Newest Mode, Ambush
The mode is part of the game’s new “Operation: Warlord” update.
Today, New World Interactive and Focus Entertainment dropped the “Operation: Warlord” update for the FPS Insurgency: Sandstorm on PC. (The console version will drop on a later date.) The update brings the ambush mode to the game – an escort or target mission in which one team protects a VIP from the other team trying to take them down. The VIP is not an NPC, however. Instead, one of the players on the defensive team will become the VIP.
The second big addition in this update is the new “Gap” map, where players will have plenty of time to test out their new weapons, the Vector and P90. Also included is the Praetorian Set Bundle which is part of the Year 2 Pass and Gold Edition and filled with new outfits and weapon skins.
Also of note, for those interested in picking up the game: Insurgency: Sandstorm is currently half-off on Steam.
