Leak Indicates Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Will Have An Online PvP Mode
The leak comes from the game's art book of all things.
An art book has leaked online for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, and it seems to contain details about an online PvP mode the shooter will have once it launches in September 2024.
In a video by YouTuber prdalien0 that has since been taken down due to a copyright claim by Focus Entertainment et Games Workshop, a flip through the book revealed information about various game modes and customizations according to Eurogamer. Among the game modes listed was a Marine x Marine PvP mode. The book included a list of classes along with banner and clan customization.
The book also reportedly showed a hub area where players could pick up story missions. There were various enemies and bosses shown with multiple types of Tyranids and Chaos Marines. It also showed weapons, vehicles, and interactive objects.
With the video now gone from the internet, we'll just have to wait and see how accurate this information was, but it sounds like PvP could be a thing in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.
