PSO2: NGS Headline Stream Teases Upcoming Anniversary Event...Including A Peek At The Braver Class
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has been out for three weeks now, so apparently the dev team thought it was time for a brief stream to let the players know what's going on. The stream, presided over by Official Navigator Hiro Arai, started out with an apology from the developers regarding the issues the game had at (and since) launch. No, they didn't talk about compensation, but did say they're doing their best to make sure players don't see more of that in the future.
Aside from that, there wasn't much in the way of old business. Instead, the stream highlighted upcoming content such as several scratch tickets, including the "Sweet Summer" AC scratch ticket with things like swimming outfits and a new swimming movement.
Mostly, however, it focused on the PSO2 9th anniversary celebrations which will take place in NGS. The anniversary event begins July 7 and lasts until August 4. During this time there'll be a bit of redecorating with the 9th Anniversary City, limited time daily and weekly tasks that award points that can be turned into rewards, the introduction of the first elemental weapon to the game, the obligatory Rappy content, Seasonal enemies, and more.
Of course, you'll want a look at all the new items, decorative changes, and everything else coming with the event. So, watch the stream below. Make sure to stick around until the end if you want a peek at how the Braver class will look when it makes its was into New Genesis in August.
